Abbie, now more than ever

Good insight into the ’60s counter-culture mindset. Therein lies the bad with the good. More than just a little dated now in terms of what a person these days could get away with in 21st century Amerika, Abbie Hoffman’s book does contain much that might still be useful in obtaining and providing the basic requirements of survival should they be needed. Sections like how to fly for free seem quaint, especially since 9/11. Be forewarned, Abbie doesn’t refrain from describing how to take advantage of, or bring harm to, anyone/thing/institution which isn’t a true supporter of the “revolution”.

About Marcus

Who me? Introverted, neurotic, self-absorbed, increasingly cynical observer of human nature and part time social critic in hiding. Most of my life spent avoiding growing up. The naive idealistic passions of youth have evolved into the eclectic eccentricities of adulthood. Northeast Florida small-town native, related to people I can't relate to. Simultaneously my own best friend and worst enemy. Politically and spiritually unaffiliated, my personal ideologies put me all over the map or off it completely.
