“I miss the sense of neighborhood…I miss the fierce, close friendships that I grew up taking for granted. And, of all things, I miss a sense of continuity.” – Robert Ward (Crawdaddy 1977)

About Marcus

Who me? Introverted, neurotic, self-absorbed, increasingly cynical observer of human nature and part time social critic in hiding. Most of my life spent avoiding growing up. The naive idealistic passions of youth have evolved into the eclectic eccentricities of adulthood. Northeast Florida small-town native, related to people I can't relate to. Simultaneously my own best friend and worst enemy. Politically and spiritually unaffiliated, my personal ideologies put me all over the map or off it completely.

Working on figuring out what a fair price for Duke is. I had no idea that having one in the blister pack (you have the book, correct?) was so rare. Still, $250 seems high, and that’s one of the lower prices I’ve seen for it!

I did buy the book used and that’s why it was Dukeless. Part of me, OK then the upper two-fifth’s if you’re curious, is thinking that sooner or later I’ll stumble across Duke on my own when I’m not expecting it. That’s why I wouldn’t be upset one bit if you chose to hold onto Duke and seek to maximize your profit instead of dealing with a frugal person like me.
