same planet, different worlds (cont.)

Yesterday a co-worker stopped me in the hallway to show off his latest gizmo recently purchased at Target and spent a few minutes describing some of the features it had to offer. Not to be outdone I mentioned my Saturday purchase of a used Parker 45 fountain pen in good shape for $2.

He mentioned the PSP had a half dozen episodes of ‘Family Guy’ you could watch anytime you chose.

Well, since my new fountain pen uses a refillable bladder sac, I can change ink colors whenever it runs out.

Umm, It doesn’t need batteries.

It won’t become obsolete.

Will it?

About Marcus

Who me? Introverted, neurotic, self-absorbed, increasingly cynical observer of human nature and part time social critic in hiding. Most of my life spent avoiding growing up. The naive idealistic passions of youth have evolved into the eclectic eccentricities of adulthood. Northeast Florida small-town native, related to people I can't relate to. Simultaneously my own best friend and worst enemy. Politically and spiritually unaffiliated, my personal ideologies put me all over the map or off it completely.
