dualism on display

Spotted recently – two stickers on the same rear bumper. The first (on the left) said ‘Eracism’, slogan for the group ERACE whose members “are committed to treating fellow human beings of all colors with love and respect”. The sticker on the right showed in some detail that U.S.A. really stood for “Up Saddam’s Ass”.

About Marcus

Who me? Introverted, neurotic, self-absorbed, increasingly cynical observer of human nature and part time social critic in hiding. Most of my life spent avoiding growing up. The naive idealistic passions of youth have evolved into the eclectic eccentricities of adulthood. Northeast Florida small-town native, related to people I can't relate to. Simultaneously my own best friend and worst enemy. Politically and spiritually unaffiliated, my personal ideologies put me all over the map or off it completely.

I’m certain that the juxtaposition was meant to profess that whatever it was that was placed “U.S.A.” was placed there with love and respect.
