‘The Butterfly Kid’ by Chester Anderson – Part 2

The book I posted about on December 24th arrived with today’s mail delivery. Total cost – $1.59 when I send someone a book using paperbackswap.com service.

About Marcus

Who me? Introverted, neurotic, self-absorbed, increasingly cynical observer of human nature and part time social critic in hiding. Most of my life spent avoiding growing up. The naive idealistic passions of youth have evolved into the eclectic eccentricities of adulthood. Northeast Florida small-town native, related to people I can't relate to. Simultaneously my own best friend and worst enemy. Politically and spiritually unaffiliated, my personal ideologies put me all over the map or off it completely.

  1. That’s pretty cool.

  2. What a satisfying end to your quest! I’ve never gone to such lengths for a book, but I do carry a list of certain ones I’m looking for, in case I stumble into a used book store unexpectedly.

I’d rather shop for used books, albums, CDs than watch TV for instance. (and I try to shop regularly, if I don’t I go into withdrawal) Besides a “wanted” list, sometimes I carry a notebook with page after page of items to be on the lookout for. I’m obsessed.
