you are what you have

Thinking about it recently and have concluded I am the sum total of everything I own. No more, no less.

About Marcus

Who me? Introverted, neurotic, self-absorbed, increasingly cynical observer of human nature and part time social critic in hiding. Most of my life spent avoiding growing up. The naive idealistic passions of youth have evolved into the eclectic eccentricities of adulthood. Northeast Florida small-town native, related to people I can't relate to. Simultaneously my own best friend and worst enemy. Politically and spiritually unaffiliated, my personal ideologies put me all over the map or off it completely.

Lacking input from anyone who actually “knows” me, I have to set my own criteria and so far that’s what I ve come up with. I may own my possessions but they define me. I have a wide range of ephemera, collectibles, doo-dads, trinkets and what-nots going back to grade school and treasure them all.

Does that include experiences? Can one own an experience?

That’s the estimation of your insurance company and the executor of your will, in any case.
