my reading determines my reading

Tonite while working my way thru Philip K. Dick’s early novel, ‘The Man In The High Castle’, I found where Dick mentions Nathanael West’s piece ‘Miss Lonelyhearts’ which happens to be sitting in my “to be read” stack. (coupled with ‘The Day of the Locust’) I was relieved since the other book which figures heavily in Dick’s plot is the ‘I Ching’. Maybe I should just consult the ‘I Ching’ on what to read next?

About Marcus

Who me? Introverted, neurotic, self-absorbed, increasingly cynical observer of human nature and part time social critic in hiding. Most of my life spent avoiding growing up. The naive idealistic passions of youth have evolved into the eclectic eccentricities of adulthood. Northeast Florida small-town native, related to people I can't relate to. Simultaneously my own best friend and worst enemy. Politically and spiritually unaffiliated, my personal ideologies put me all over the map or off it completely.
