relevant then AND now

As someone who was was first exposed to the writing of Albert Camus in my late forties, I’m still pleasantly surprised every time I read another of his works. Most recently I finished ‘Resistance, Rebellion, and Death’ which I picked up last weekend at one of my favorite used bookstores in Charlotte. Wishing I had come across this when I was much younger, I ‘m wondering if it appears on high school/college reading lists. It should.

About Marcus

Who me? Introverted, neurotic, self-absorbed, increasingly cynical observer of human nature and part time social critic in hiding. Most of my life spent avoiding growing up. The naive idealistic passions of youth have evolved into the eclectic eccentricities of adulthood. Northeast Florida small-town native, related to people I can't relate to. Simultaneously my own best friend and worst enemy. Politically and spiritually unaffiliated, my personal ideologies put me all over the map or off it completely.

  1. I read it while in college. Then again I also have a minor in English Lit.
