I read dead people

I wasn’t going to post about it as I’ve probably said more on the subject than anyone seems to really care about but my final number of books read last year, after I initially set a goal of one per week, turned out to be 76.

Working my way thru another two books by one of the authors I’m about to mention, an odd thought suddenly crossed my mind. Taking a count shows that 15 of those 76 books were written by four separate authors who killed themselves.

About Marcus

Who me? Introverted, neurotic, self-absorbed, increasingly cynical observer of human nature and part time social critic in hiding. Most of my life spent avoiding growing up. The naive idealistic passions of youth have evolved into the eclectic eccentricities of adulthood. Northeast Florida small-town native, related to people I can't relate to. Simultaneously my own best friend and worst enemy. Politically and spiritually unaffiliated, my personal ideologies put me all over the map or off it completely.

  1. So I’m guessing you read something by Hemingway?
