the Devil made him do it

My High School newspaper once held a book sale to raise money. The books sold for 25 cents each and I picked up several. Surprisingly, I’ve managed to hold on to them ever since. (well maybe no one is surprised given my reputation as a pack rat) Anyway, afterward I realized this particular book contained a bizarre message from “beyond”(Crowley died in 1947) or maybe just a strange coincidence. The newspaper staff stamped the inside cover of each book they sold. Our High School mascot was the “Blue Devil”. Guess what the school newspaper was called?

Here is a closer view.

About Marcus

Who me? Introverted, neurotic, self-absorbed, increasingly cynical observer of human nature and part time social critic in hiding. Most of my life spent avoiding growing up. The naive idealistic passions of youth have evolved into the eclectic eccentricities of adulthood. Northeast Florida small-town native, related to people I can't relate to. Simultaneously my own best friend and worst enemy. Politically and spiritually unaffiliated, my personal ideologies put me all over the map or off it completely.
