I believed it then and I believe it now

Somewhere during my teens I came across this Woody Allen quote-
“Love is the result of the best kind of luck in the area of relations with the opposite sex.”
I wrote it down and remember sharing a paraphrased version with a girl I knew who strongly disagreed with “luck” having anything to do with the process. (I recall feeling unlucky at the time)
Sometime later I added a comment wondering how lucky Mia Farrow felt.

About Marcus

Who me? Introverted, neurotic, self-absorbed, increasingly cynical observer of human nature and part time social critic in hiding. Most of my life spent avoiding growing up. The naive idealistic passions of youth have evolved into the eclectic eccentricities of adulthood. Northeast Florida small-town native, related to people I can't relate to. Simultaneously my own best friend and worst enemy. Politically and spiritually unaffiliated, my personal ideologies put me all over the map or off it completely.

  1. Ha! I love Woody Allen, but I hate him, too.
