daily dharma (‘some of the dharma’ pages 43-53)

Many quotable portions but my favorite was this-

“I am you and you are me.” Now I know where the Beatles, (B-e-a-tles, get it?) took some of their inspiration.

“I am God, I am not God.”, “I am All, I am not All.”, “All things are imaginary and unreal.”, “Life is an irresponsible dream.”

lemme hear a goo-goo-g-joob!

“The Dead know better.” (bet they won’t get fooled again) Death owns everything, except dreams.

“Mind is outside the dream.”, “Mind manifests the Dream.”, “Mind is the essence, dream is the form.”

Drea-ea-ea-ea-eam, dream, dream, dream
Drea-ea-ea-ea-eam, dream, dream, dream
(The Everly Brothers)

About Marcus

Who me? Introverted, neurotic, self-absorbed, increasingly cynical observer of human nature and part time social critic in hiding. Most of my life spent avoiding growing up. The naive idealistic passions of youth have evolved into the eclectic eccentricities of adulthood. Northeast Florida small-town native, related to people I can't relate to. Simultaneously my own best friend and worst enemy. Politically and spiritually unaffiliated, my personal ideologies put me all over the map or off it completely.
