daily dharma (‘some of the dharma’ pages 12-15)

God as a false Faustian concept. Seems oxymoronish at first then I realized without God – no Devil, w/o the Devil – Faust never happened, therefore Faust implies God, but why “false”?

Tao in a different light, so to speak. Taoism is Buddhism from India filtered(transmuted) thru China. Whole lotta yin/yang goin’ on for some reason. If X then not Y. If Y then not X. Sounds mathematical. Maybe with irrational numbers. Would it be “old” or “new” math?

Mention of “Primordial Nothingness”. Reminds me of a speech William Hurt gives in the movie ‘Altered States’.

About Marcus

Who me? Introverted, neurotic, self-absorbed, increasingly cynical observer of human nature and part time social critic in hiding. Most of my life spent avoiding growing up. The naive idealistic passions of youth have evolved into the eclectic eccentricities of adulthood. Northeast Florida small-town native, related to people I can't relate to. Simultaneously my own best friend and worst enemy. Politically and spiritually unaffiliated, my personal ideologies put me all over the map or off it completely.
