news for(of) the living impaired

Because of an out of town business trip scheduled for tomorrow I finally fueled one of my vehicles for the first time since before Katrina. We are truly homebodies. But not “homeys”. (homeboys? homies?) No, homeys looks right. Then drove out into the “country” pretty much in the middle of nowhere to a community blood drive scheduled for this afternoon (9/14) only to discover it had been rescheduled. The RedCross was thoughtful enough to invite me via a post card in the mail but not to send out a correction. (grumble-grumble waste of gas) Am convinced that my male pattern baldness is developing in an asymmetrical fashion due to the type of headset I wear with my work phone. Have noticed that when removing the headset I sometimes yank out a few hairs but only from the left side of my head.

About Marcus

Who me? Introverted, neurotic, self-absorbed, increasingly cynical observer of human nature and part time social critic in hiding. Most of my life spent avoiding growing up. The naive idealistic passions of youth have evolved into the eclectic eccentricities of adulthood. Northeast Florida small-town native, related to people I can't relate to. Simultaneously my own best friend and worst enemy. Politically and spiritually unaffiliated, my personal ideologies put me all over the map or off it completely.

Your thoughts are similar to another LJ’er. I could reverse it so the earpiece is on the right ear to achieve symmetry.(it’s one of those single ear only versions)
