one tequila, two tequila, three tequila, floor

Presented with a new corn/bean/tomato/chile/sour cream/fried tortilla strips/spiced soup concoction tonite taken (and modified, she’s an experimental chemist at heart) from a Charlotte Observer recipe. Fresh lime slices stuck on the bowl rim as ‘garnish’ to be squeezed over everything before consuming. Cleaning up afterward I noticed an untouched lime slice. Not one to let things like this go to waste (or an opportunity to pass me by) I pulled the Don Julio off the shelf and poured myself a generous shot.

When out for a walk a little later the weather didn’t seem as cold as I would have expected.
